restaurants

Some of Leah's favorite restaurants in Santa Monica incorporate the the popular farm-to-table concept. If you are close to the 3rd Street Promenade, you should try Capo, Cassia, and Rustic Canyon. If you find yourself on trendy Main St., brunch at Brick and Mortar is a must.

entertainment

What else would you want to do but walk on the beach and enjoy all the shops, restaurants and views that Santa Monica has to offer? Some other more active options are biking to the Boardwalk, taking advantage of all the great yoga studios, and running on the beach.

schools

Because Santa Monica is its own city, like Beverly Hills, it offers the benefit of a small city school district. Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District offers some of the best public schools that Los Angeles has to offer.
